Who we are

I’m Jonathan, the creator of TechMate Guidance Pro. My journey began in 2003, when I joined the U.S. military and proudly served in both Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. The discipline and determination I carried from that service became the foundation for my career in HVAC/R.

Starting as a field technician, I spent years learning the trade hands-on, solving problems system by system. As I grew in skill and leadership, I advanced to supervisor, mentoring other techs and guiding jobs in the field. Eventually, I became a service manager, responsible for overseeing one but supporting multiple branches across the state.

That role exposed me to a new challenge: I was constantly on the phone, day and night, helping technicians troubleshoot refrigeration and HVAC issues. I used to joke with my peers, “If only there was an app these guys could use, I’d finally get some sleep.”

That idea never left me. With the rise of AI technology, I realized it was finally possible to build the tool I always wished existed. Over the past 10+ months, with a lot of patience from my family, I poured my experience into designing and building TechMate Guidance Pro. At its core is a diagnostic engine powered by real physics and refrigerant science — AI is used only to validate results, not to define them.

My Mission

My mission with TechMate Guidance Pro is to give technicians a trusted diagnostic assistant — a tool that saves time, reduces callbacks, and makes every service call more professional.
